Some women strive for a natural birth while others want an epidural as soon as possible. Many of my clients are first-time mothers who aren’t sure what to expect during labor. Others are second- or third-time mothers who are hoping to have a better experience this time around. I have experience with high-risk pregnancy, adoption, and VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) births.
I believe that all women possess the ability to give birth. Given information and support, each woman will ultimately chose the path that best suits her unique physical and emotional needs.
I have six children, ranging in age from 9 to 21. I have had a wide range of childbirth experiences of my own, including natural birth, medication, epidurals, gestational diabetes, 32-hour labor, 8-hour labor, Lamaze, OB/GYN, midwife, hospital delivery room, hospital birthing center, bottle feeding, breast feeding, induced labor, spontaneously ruptured membranes, and back labor.
